About Serenity Helpline
A Licensed Addiction Treatment Center in Jacksonville, Florida
Our Story
Serenity Helpline was founded with a deeply personal mission: to create a treatment center in Jacksonville where individuals struggling with addiction could find genuine compassion, clinical excellence, and a clear path to lasting recovery. Our founders witnessed firsthand how substance abuse devastated families across Northeast Florida, and they believed that a different kind of facility was needed -- one that combined medical rigor with warmth, dignity, and individualized attention.
Since opening our doors at 122 E Beaver St in downtown Jacksonville, our treatment center has grown into one of the region's most trusted addiction recovery facilities. We have assembled a multidisciplinary clinical team of board-certified physicians, licensed therapists, and certified addiction counselors who share a unified commitment to patient-centered care. Every member of our on-site staff understands that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey.
Today, Serenity Helpline stands as a beacon of hope in the Jacksonville community. Our campus provides a safe, structured environment where clients can focus entirely on healing -- supported by evidence-based therapies, holistic wellness practices, and a continuum of care that extends well beyond discharge.

Recovery Stories
Hear from individuals and families who found hope and healing at our Jacksonville treatment center.
- Sarah M."Walking into Serenity Helpline was the hardest thing I ever did, but it turned out to be the best decision of my life. The residential program gave me the structure and support I desperately needed. The therapists on staff genuinely cared about my progress -- they remembered the small details, checked in on my toughest days, and celebrated every milestone with me. I left the Jacksonville campus after 60 days as a completely different person, and I have been sober for over a year now."
- James R."I was terrified of detox, but the medical team at Serenity Helpline made me feel safe from the moment I arrived. The nurses monitored me around the clock and the transition into residential treatment was seamless. I finally felt like I could breathe again without needing a substance to get through the day."
- Keisha L."The IOP program at Serenity Helpline fit perfectly into my life. I was able to keep working while attending sessions three evenings a week at their Jacksonville facility. The group therapy was especially valuable -- hearing other people's stories made me realize I was not alone. The skills I learned in DBT and relapse prevention have become part of my daily routine, and I feel genuinely prepared for the road ahead."
- David P."For years I struggled with both alcohol addiction and severe anxiety, and no amount of willpower could fix it on its own. Serenity Helpline's dual diagnosis program was the first time anyone treated both issues together. My psychiatrist and therapist actually worked as a team to coordinate my medication and therapy. The CBT sessions helped me understand the connection between my anxiety and my drinking. I went through PHP and then stepped down to outpatient, and that gradual transition made all the difference. I am now eight months sober and managing my mental health better than I ever have."
- Linda T."Watching my son go through treatment at Serenity Helpline gave our whole family hope again. The family therapy sessions helped us understand addiction in ways we never could on our own, and the visiting area on their Jacksonville campus made those weekend visits feel almost normal. We are grateful beyond words for the team there."
